Learn the ancient Ukrainian tradition of pisanki, or Easter egg! We’ll use beeswax, dyes, and fire-warmed stylus on raw eggs.About this Event
An old Ukrainian myth says Evil is kept at bay by pysanky: the more made each year, his chains tighten. Fewer…they loosen. Help the good fight by learning how to write your own pysanka with designs practiced for thousands of years to bring Spring. Three hours, age 12 and up. All materials provided; wear long hair back since you will be working over a lit candle.
