Join us for Trail and Treat on the Canal! This FREE family-friendly event features a safe, well-lit route with several stops to collect treats and do fun activities along the scenic Downtown Canal.

The trick-or-treat has no official start, direction, or order. Go to a few stops or complete them all! Walk, run, stroll, or bike between each stop with confidence knowing that the route is car-free and well-lit. You do not need to scan a ticket or check-in to begin. Information and restrooms are available by the Colts Canal Playspace and Orange Bridge, near the intersection of Walnut St. and Senate Ave.

Trail & Treat is FREE to the public and family (and dog) friendly. All ages and abiliites are welcome, but registration is strongly encouraged.

Trail & Treat on the Canal is powered by PNC Foundation and made possible through a partnership between the Indianapolis Cultural Trail and the Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development. It is supported by a variety of community partners, organizations, and local businesses hosting stops along the route.

Info: Collect candy and participate in fun activities along the Downtown Canal. Choose your own start, direction, and finish! Walk, run, bike or roll at your own pace between stops utilizing the well-lit, car-free and accessible route.

Info: Dance along to popular kids' songs and Halloween classics! Join the band by grabbing an instrument or singing along!

Info: Take a FREE ~5 min. ride on the Canal in a slightly spooky boat. 2 boats are available from 5-6 PM, and 1 from 6-7 PM. Rides are FREE, but are first come first serve. Located on the east side of the Canal, just north of the Indiana Ave. and Michigan St. Bridge.
