The new addition for this year Mayfield Park will see The Twilight Trail – an enchanting winter light show set to launch on Friday 17th November and will be running until Sunday 31st December. This festive season Winter Island will transform Freight Island into the UK’s largest heated outdoor and indoor winter festival until Christmas Eve Sunday 24th December.

The immersive light and sound show running for 31 mesmerising days throughout winter 2023 will transform Mayfield Park into a twinkling city-centre escape. Step into a.world of enchantment right in the heart of the city this winter with the Twilight Trail at Mayfield Park.

They're unlocking the gates after dusk to welcome up to 75000 guests to enjoy the festive wonderland. With spectacular light displays lantern installations and a captivating sound-scape guiding your way they invite you to roam at your own pace through this 30-minute enchanting journey where they are encouraged to stay for further festive experiences – from Christmas food and drink to Visit Santa Experience and much more.
