The Pumpkin Patch : A Family Art Festival

WMA is super excited to invite you to The Pumpkin Patch, a fun and free family art festival happening on Saturday, October 26th from 10 am to 2 pm at the museum in the Civic Center parking lot in downtown Dothan. It's going to be a blast with our giant pumpkin patch and awesome hands-on artmaking stations for the whole family. You can create and take home up to five handmade works of art, and every family can also take home a painted pumpkin.

The galleries will be open for all visitors, and we've planned a special art scavenger hunt to bring families together to enjoy and talk about art. You don't want to miss the live glass blowing demonstration by Hot Glass Academy outside at the festival, and you'll even get to see an installation of beautiful glass pumpkins available for purchase. Plus, there will be local artists showcasing their talents.

We totally encourage everyone to dress up in costumes, so let your imagination run wild! Don't forget to capture those fantastic family memories with photos in the pumpkin patch.As if that's not awesome enough, we'll be serving up free popcorn, lemonade, and candy. And if you get hungry, there'll be food trucks all around Down town Dothan.
