This Halloween season, sail with us on a historic ship into the night and back in time for an elegant evening of dark delights and fangtastic performances. The Gothic Vampire Cruise on the Hudson is finally back!

Dust off your finest Victorian garbs, polish your fangs, and get ready to join Abraham Van Helsing and Countess Margarethe von Orlok aboard the 150ft schooner Clipper City (aka the Demeter - famous ship of Vampire lore). Spend 2.5 exciting hours on Manhattan's only Gothic Vampire cruise.

Now in its 5th year, this unique, interactive, theatrical extravaganza pairs a nighttime sailing cruise down the Hudson River with site-specific immersive theater, dark electronic live music, Goth DJs, and mesmerizing dance performances. It's up to you if you want to get entangled in the epic plot of good and evil or merely watch as a spectator, while enjoying dark tunes and the magnificent view of the NYC skyline from the water. Sip a drink at the cash bar, entertained the dark electro band The Sedona Effect, DJ Aengle and DJ Stalagmike, and a fantastic crew of performers, including Teel James Glenn, Kaeshi Chai, and Miss Ruby Pavlova.

The Plot

The story continues where the last cruise left off and has been actively shaped by our amazing audience over the years:

It is the year 1899, Prof Abraham Van Helsing, a global authority on the subject of blood diseases and - as only the initiated know - a fervent hunter of Nosferatu, has been gifted the infamous ship "The Demeter" by Count Orlok, for some rather unusual studies. As one of the rich and powerful, You have been chosen to join Van Helsing's secret order that protects a secret hidden aboard the ship: the Holy Grail. Count Orlok, notorious for some rather dark rumors surrounding his voyage to Transylvania, is said to have brought it back from the old world to protect it from the forces of darkness, but could not prevent his daughters' descent into madness after witnessing unspeakable evil - an old evil that is haunting her in her fever dreams. Barely clinging to life, Margarete's fate seems to be bound to the grail. But her role in this story is far greater than the order could have dreamed of. It is only recently that Van Helsing discovered that her visions of madness are not madness at all - they are prophecies, and one of them includes your name....
