🦃 Cleveland Turkey Trot • Thanksgiving Morning Tradition 🦃CSU Rec Center and Viking Public House are teaming up to bring you the Cleveland Turkey Trot, Northeast Ohio’s favorite Thanksgiving morning tradition for the whole family.
Since 1982 - the Cleveland Turkey Trot offers something for everyone: from competitive runs to casual family walks, a festive atmosphere with entertainment, costume contests, a dog-friendly vibe, and the joy of supporting local needs.

• 7:00 am – Packet pickup begins (inside Public Hall)
• 8:45 am – 1 Mile Walk begins
• 9:15 am – Pre race announcements
• 9:25 am – National Anthem
• 9:30 am – 5 Mile & 5K start (chip-timed)
• 11:30 am – Course closes, Public Hall check in ends

• Non-perishable donations welcome on race day inside Public Hall—collection for St. Augustine’s (Tremont) and West Side Catholic Center. Most-needed items: canned goods, socks, underwear, soap, deodorant, toothbrush/toothpaste

• 5 Mile course winds through Downtown → Ohio City → over Lorain & Detroit Superior bridges
• 5K shares most of the route, diverging near Progressive Field
• 1 Mile Strut is a family-friendly loop around the race site
