Details
Step into the liminal space of Samhain, a sacred turning of the season when the veil between worlds is said to grow thin and we are invited to remember, honor, and listen to those who came before us. We will begin by preparing the space with an herbal smudging ritual of rosemary and mugwort, cleansing and blessing the space as we cross the threshold into ceremony. From there, you will be guided through grounding meditation, gentle seated movement, and intention setting—creating space to release what no longer serves you and listen for what is calling you forward. Together, we will awaken our altar with a sacred Samhain anointing oil infused with cinnamon, mugwort, rosemary, and calendula. You are invited to bring a personal offering for the altar—a candle, crystal, photograph, treasured object, or ancestral keepsake—as a way of honoring those who came before you. As the evening deepens, we will enter the world of folklore and sacred storytelling. Through story, you will be guided into a shamanic-inspired visual journey, exploring the obstacles, patterns, and old stories that may no longer belong on the path ahead. Here, we turn inward. We listen for what has been hidden beneath the surface. We meet the desires asking to be acknowledged. We uncover what is ready to be released and what is asking to be carried forward as we move through the threshold of the season. We will close our journey by returning to the body and gathering together over a warm Samhain tea blend of rooibos, apple, and cinnamon—grounding ourselves in reflection, gratitude, and ancestral remembrance. Bring something for the altar. Leave a little lighter than you arrived.
