Join us for a spooky good time at the Kern Co. Fairgrounds for our 3rd Annual Spooktacular. We are again resurrecting all of the fun that WCPGA & SCPGA had at their original Spooktaculars.On Saturday, October 25th, we will be having two Open Shows, our GSPGA Club meeting & 2026 Election, plus a Harvest or Spooky Dessert contest & auction for both youth & adults! We will end that day with a Potluck & a Ghostly Ghoats Spooktacular Trick or Treat event from 7-8:30pm. Decorate a pen (think Trunk or Treat but barn style!) and all Pygmy youth can dress up and trick or treat in the barn.
Open Show 1 will be judged by Eva Morgan (Morgan Crossing) and will have our Wether and Doe Futurity classes. Open Show 2 will be judged by Teasha Lee (West Sun Pygmies)and will begin with Adult Showmanship (sign up ringside for $5).
Sunday, October 26th is our Spooktacular Youth Show & Buckle Bonanza starting off with Showmanship, Sterling Wethers (now allowed in youth shows!), Wethers, Does, and Bucks with our judge, Eva Morgan. New rule change—youth can no longer show does or bucks under the judge’s herd name—Morgan Crossing.

🎃Friday, 10/24 Move in (Optional)
🎃Youth & Adults--bring your favorite Harvest or Spooky Dessert (covered/protected) for a live Auction on Saturday. Prizes for the top 3 desserts.
🎃Saturday, 10/25 Open #1 beginning at 8:30am with Eva Morgan
🎃GSPGA Club meeting, 2026 Elections, & Live Dessert Auction during lunch break
🎃Saturday, 10/25 Open #2 beginning after lunch with Teasha Lee
