Mothers Ruined Gin invites you to the historic (and reputedly haunted!) Thistle Inn for a Halloween tasting of international award-winning gins, accompanied by spooky tales from the darker corners of Wellington’s past.The ‘mothers’ will guide you through a tasting of five delicious and unique gins, all lovingly distilled in nearby Breaker Bay. While you sip fine gin and snack on generous nibbles, you’ll hear spine-tingling stories of Wellington’s ghosts, hauntings and uncanny happenings from local historian Amanda McVitty of Arque Research.

Mothers Ruined Gin was co-founded by Helen Gower and Jo Davy, and their award-winning gin is made on Wellington’s south coast.
