Soulful Samhain: Ritual & Rest Workshop
As the wheel of the year turns through Samhain, we enter a season of slowing down, reflection and release. Traditionally marking the end of the harvest, Samhain is a threshold — a time to honour what has been, let go of what we no longer need, and gently make space for what is to come.
Join Yoga Borne Studio Owner and Senior Yoga Teacher, Karine, for a soulful 2-hour evening of movement, ritual, connection and deep rest as the sun sets.
We’ll begin with a little storytelling and reflection on Samhain and the turning of the wheel, before moving into a nourishing blend of somatic movement and Yin Yoga — slow, intuitive practices inviting you to listen inwards, soften and arrive fully in the moment.
There will be space for mindful meditation and a simple Samhain silent supper, offering an opportunity to pause, share the experience of community without the need for conversation, and mindfully honour the nourishment of the season.
As daylight fades, we’ll settle into the deep rest of Yoga Nidra, allowing the body and mind to become quiet as the sun sets around us.
This is not about doing more. It is about slowing down and remembering the importance of rest, reflection and connection.
Rooted in Yoga Borne’s values of Compassion, Connection and Community, this is an invitation to gather at the turning of the wheel — to honour the season, ourselves and one another.
Come as you are.
Move gently.
Rest deeply.
Gather in community.
And welcome the darkness as part of the natural rhythm of life.
Our studo will be super cosy, with all equiment provided, but feel free to bring a blanket or pillow for comfort, and fluffy socks are always a great idea.
Samhain supper will be vegan pumpkin, squash and rosemary soup - please let us know of any allergies.
