Calling all MCR witches, mystics and fairies 🌀 in celebration of our favourite season aka the season of the witch, we’re hosting a special spooky screening of The Witches of Eastwick on October 29th @thenewcross 🌹
Picture this: it’s 1987, and the world is still terrified of single women. Enter The Witches of Eastwick — a chaotic, sexy and gloriously camp witchy classic starring Cher, Susan Sarandon, Michelle Pfeiffer and Jack Nicholson. The film follows three women in a sleepy New England town who accidentally summon the mysterious Daryl Van Horne — a charming, devilish man who promises them magic, independence and pleasure, while awakening supernatural powers they never knew they had. Is it a romance? A deal with the devil? Or a feminist rebellion?
