This is a long weekend for women who love to read, held in a restored country house an hour south of Glasgow, surrounded by gardens, forest trails, and the quiet of rural Ayrshire. We gather at Samhain, the turning point of the season, when the year invites us inward, and rest stops feeling like something we have to earn.

This is not a highly structured or intensive retreat. Instead, it's a relaxed, thoughtfully held space designed to feel both grounding and light, fun and restful. You'll have plenty of time to read, rest, explore, and connect in a way that feels natural to you.

Your three nights include:
Lodging in a private or shared room, all meals prepared for you, activities, and access to the property's yoga studio, sauna, hot tub, cold plunge, gardens, and forest trails.

Optional throughout the weekend:
Book swap, book club, book craft, nature walks, morning meditation, evening bonfire, Samhain circle, and on-site massage. Partake in what calls to you and skip what doesn't.

Together, we're creating a space rooted in presence, kindness, and curiosity. You're invited to show up as you are, move at your own pace, and make the experience your own.

Retreat rates start at $1,925 (£1,448) for double-occupancy rooms and $2,800 (£2,105) for single-occupancy rooms with early-bird pricing through August 28. Buddy booking rates and single King room available upon request.
