Kerry Bennett Candles will be located outside, opposite the indoor market!On Sunday 27 November Pontefract Town Centre will kick off the festive season with a wholesome Christmas-themed day out including the traditional switching on of the Christmas lights at 5:30pm!
Explore the craft market and enjoy street food and family entertainment. Marvel as buildings are lit up and enjoy some fairground rides. Santa will also be in attendance!
Join us from midday on the picturesque Market Square of Pontefract to explore the Christmas Speciality Market bursting with local produce and those essential little stocking fillers! Warm up with some hot chocolate and yummy street food whilst listening to Christmas Carols from the children of Larks Hill Junior and Infants School at the wonderful historic building The Buttercross. Beastfair will hold a range of juvenile rides along with a traditional Hook a Duck stall – can you win a prize?! From 4pm you will be able to see the towns key buildings in all their beauty as we light up The Town Hall & St. Giles Church.
