Mark your calendars for the third annual Poe Fest at the Jenks!
This year we are joining forces with local businesses The Haunted Closet and Molly Monroe Apparel to bring you an elevated experience like no other!
What to expect:
An evening of the macabre with Edgar Allan Poe readings from everyone's favorite local actor, Jason Calvert. Find him as he takes you on a journey throughout the various chambers of the Jenks Building...
Themed drinks based on Poe's favorite libations...
Molly Monroe Apparel will be hosting a DIY Fashion workshop in our Second Floor Salon. Options range from between $5-10 where you can create your own custom keychain out of old toys and jewelry, bring in a favorite tattered t-shirt to be sewn onto a flannel shirt or bring in your Halloween costume and let Molly upgrade it for you! Seamstresses will be on site to help make this process go smoothly! The Haunted Closet is donating some really great pins and patches for this portion of the night!
More to come and be announced in the coming weeks...stay tuned!
