The Plaza Community Cinema are celebrating Halloween this year with two special events which will cater for everyone. Here we go with our first announcement for Halloween at Plaza Cinema for 2025!Horror film fans will love our Plaza 80s Halloween Special with ‘The Shining’ (15) on Saturday 25th October (7pm).
The Shining (1980), directed by Stanley Kubrick and starring Jack Nicholson, is a chilling psychological horror film based on Stephen King’s novel. It follows Jack Torrance, a struggling writer and recovering alcoholic, who descends into madness while caretaking a remote, haunted hotel with his wife and clairvoyant son.
DJ Nick Gartland with Halloween themed set, bar available and fancy dress is fully encouraged with a prize for best dressed!
