Technology, including social media and gaming, is a tough road to navigate with our kids. Join us for this parenting workshop which also includes some incredible programming for your kids! Our speaker is Lindsay Kusy, LMHC, CCTP, CCFP, CAGCS. Lindsay will address technology use from a mental health perspective: what healthy use looks like and how to support our kids in cultivating this. You'll leave with a better understanding of the developing brain, the affects of technology upon it, and how to create a healthy technology plan with your kids.
We also have some amazing events lined up for your kids at the same time!
Your middle schooler/s (5-8th grade) are invited to an incredible Halloween Party: hay ride, pumpkin painting, costume contest, eating Halloween candy, and so much more. The evening will also include an encouraging message aimed at our youth. Halloween costumes are encouraged, but not required!
For your younger kids (infant-4th grade), our Kids Ministry is hosting a Pajama Party! Kids will eat snacks, play games, make crafts and more, all in their favorite, comfiest pjs.
You may register for any/all of these events! The registration link is here: https://www.stlukesumc.com/page/1164/?registrationinstanceid=1218&eventoccurrenceid=1529
