About Haunted South: Gulf Coast Paranormal Guidebook:

Step into the haunted heart of the Gulf Coast with Haunted South: A Gulf Coast Paranormal Guidebook.

From bestselling author M.L. Bullock—the Queen of Southern Gothic and creator of over 150 novels—comes an immersive guide to the real-world locations that inspired the Gulf Coast Paranormal series. This book blends eerie history, ghostly legends, and firsthand accounts to reveal the stories behind the South’s most haunted places.

Wander through Mobile’s restless cemeteries, stroll the shadowed streets of New Orleans, and stand on the haunted shores of Gulfport, Mississippi. Every chapter invites you deeper into a landscape where moss-draped oaks, crumbling mansions, and fog-laden bayous hold secrets of the past.
Inside you’ll find:

Haunting Histories – The chilling legends and true tales behind each haunted site, from tragic romances to Civil War echoes.
Paranormal Insights – Glimpses into Bullock’s own investigations and the ghostly encounters that shaped her stories.
Travel Tips – Visiting details, safety notes, and local context to help you explore these sites with respect and care.
Atmospheric Storytelling – Evocative narratives that bring each location to life, weaving together history, legend, and Southern mystery.

Whether you’re planning a haunted road trip or simply love a good ghost story, Haunted South will transport you to the Gulf Coast’s most chilling destinations.

One local author, a whole bunch of books, one cool cat, and all the haints of The Haunted Book Shop await you during October Artwalk at The Haunted Book Shop. See you soon!
