Join us for a FREE Easter workshop with local author and illustrator Jack Skivens.About this Event
Journey into a magical space filled with animals who’ve escaped from Cardiff Castle’s animal wall for a special arts and crafts workshop, guided by Jack, and a storytelling session.
This Easter, Jack Skivens will be leading an arts and crafts workshop and storytelling session, inspired by Cardiff’s legendary animal wall and Morgan Quarter’s Easter Trail.
The arts and crafts workshop will give children the chance to create their own Easter egg illustrations, and will include a reading of Jack’s book, ‘The Night of the Animal Wall’. Every child will also receive a Morgan Quarter Easter Trail map to complete after the workshop (subject to availability).
Throughout Easter, Families are invited to visit the free installation of the animal wall statues and join Morgan Quarter’s Easter trail, where children can journey around the Morgan and Royal Arcades to find 10 eggs nestled in shop windows. They’ll receive a stamp in-store for each egg they find - with a chocolate treat at the end!

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Recommended for ages 3+
