Maundy Thursday, April 6th, 2023
As one begins a hike, some may find a wandering path winding through the desert wilderness, and Holy Week can kind of feel like that. The journey can emerge as it meanders, taking us through the twists and turns through the contours of the lofty boulders, dark gardens and a vibrant horizon. The heaviness of the this week moves with each gust and the Spirit of journey continues to move us. In this journey, we are reminded of the boundlessness of the Spirit. As Easter arrives on the wind of eagles, the air currents help shape our direction and the horizon become illuminated.
This Maundy Thursday we invite you to wander with NSUMC through scripture, song and sermon to discover your journey and your light! Our doors are open to all who are interested in journeying with the Lord.
This service will begin @7:00pm in the NSUMC sanctuary.
