Every second full weekend in October, the Winterset Historic Courthouse Square is filled with over 140 food, and arts and crafts vendors, old-time demonstrations, live music, children's activities, and much more, for the annual Madison County Covered Bridge Festival. Additional activities include History on the Hill at the Madison County Historical Complex, the annual car show and parade (Sunday only), and special themed activities. This year, we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of "The Bridges of Madison County."Event Location
