Have fun on the farm and in the garden with your preschooler while practicing early reading skills!About this Event
Explore fall on the farm with Little Farmers Story Time!
Designed for curious little farmers ages 3–5 and their caregivers, this one-hour class brings early literacy to life through stories, songs, sensory exploration, and hands-on adventures around the farm.
This Week: P is for Pumpkin!
What sound does the letter P make? What other things can we think of that start with P?
This week, our Little Farmers will explore pumpkins! Through stories, movement, and hands-on discovery, we’ll learn more about one of fall’s favorite crops.
Together, we’ll investigate a pumpkin from the outside in, getting a close-up look at its stem, skin, pulp, and seeds. Little Farmers will be encouraged to touch, observe, and explore before decorating their very own mini pumpkin to take home!
Little Farmers Story Time pairs children’s literature with hands-on farm experiences designed to encourage young children to read, listen, move, explore, ask questions, and experience the natural world with all five senses.
Ticket cost is for one Adult/Child Pair. Pre-registration is required.
Additional siblings can attend for additional fee. Limited space for siblings.
Babes in Arms are Free.
