Lawn Flicks: Halloween Movie Night at Hi-Lawn (Nightmare on Elm Street)

It's outdoor movie season, and Hi-Lawn is thrilled host its weekly Thursday “Lawn Flicks” series featuring free live movies on the Union Market rooftop!

Every Thursday starting at 8pm, Washingtonians can sprawl out on the expansive turf or reserve lawn chairs to watch movies (on a large inflatable projector screen)and enjoy showtime snacks and drink specials.

October 31st's movie is Nightmare on Elm Street.

Hi-Lawn has also curated movie “picnic baskets” stocked with snacks and sweets (such as popcorn, boxes of candy, and an assortment of bites like cheese and charcuterie and dips), drink specials [like $6 cans of Happy Thursday, a bubble-free spiked refresher; and if you want to splurge (at a deal), $69 bottles of Veuve Clicquot], available for purchase.

And beforehand from 6-8pm, Hi-Lawn will host free Trivia Nights, with some themes corresponding to each movie. Trivia will be free to play, no reservations or pre-registration required.

You can bring your own blankets or lawn chairs. No outside alcohol or food.

Tickets and reservations are not required for entry - we are just trying to gauge how many people to expect!
