Lammas: Cacao Ceremony, Meditation & Yoga Nidra.

Details

As the wheel of the year turns and the warmth of summer envelops us it is time to celebrate the bountiful festival of Lammas also known as Lughnasadh

We'll mark this ancient Celtic holiday by giving gratitude to the first harvest and honouring the abundance of the Earth expressing gratitude for the gifts both from nature and within our own lives.

This festival is traditionally celebrated on or around 1st in the Northern Hemisphere marking the halfway point between the summer solstice and the autumn equinox.

Lammas also holds a deeper spiritual significance beyond the agricultural aspects. To our ancestors it was seen as a time of transition marking the beginning of the harvest season and the gradual shift towards autumn as the days shorten and growth slows.

At this cacao ceremony we’ll honour the coming shift and consider what we might need to support ourselves in this transition including anything we might need to release be it energetic emotional or physical/tangible.

This ceremony will include drinking cacao oracle cards a guided journey meditation as well as some grounding breathwork & journaling. We'll finish with a delicious yoga nidra (guided conscious sleep meditation).

I have 4 floor chairs (with back support) available please let me know when booking if you'd like one.
