Kielder Observatory Space Rock Workshop

Mini astronauts and space rangers are invited to join us this Easter break for an out of this world Space Workshop with Kielder observatory that will take them to infinity and beyond.

Using a set of inflatable planets and a genuine collection of space rocks, children will get a chance to make an accurate scale model of the solar system.

Each planet will be discussed in detail, and everyone will get a chance to handle a meteorite collection – including samples that have originated from the Moon and Mars. At the end of the session, your mini space explorers will become solar system experts.

Located at Fenwick Newcastle, in the toys department story-telling area, Sessions are available to book on n Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th April from 11am-12pm, 1pm-2pm and 3pm-4pm.

*Tickets cost £5 per child (ages 7+) with 18 spaces per session.

*Every child must be accompanied by an adult.
