Joplin Wasteland is proud to present our next event, The Dungeon of Wate-Pa.Game Lore-
Wate-Pa years ago was thought to be lost to the rad storms of the wastes. Though Exit 4 pathfinders have found a path back to Wate-Pa to find that the rad storm of old has pasted. Yet the once great trade town is rumored to be host to mutants, monsters, traps and rad zones. Thus a new settlement has been set up outside of the old town of Wate-Pa by Exit 4. There are high hopes for this new town as talk of a election has quickly came about and just as parties can be formed to enter the once water park, a winter storm has hit the lands of Wate-Pa.
Events in Last Water Park Game-
Ace the Mob Boss won the last mayor election by a campaign of bribes and promising to end the town guard tax, which he did. Though a new ammo tax has replaced the old one to be able to pay the guard to still keep law and order. But a new election is to take place. King Radicus fell in battle on top of Arcade Mountain. With the fall of the mad self appointed king, darker forces at play move in to claim power in the Wate-Pa wastes. The Nobodies lead by No Name have made a name for themselves and have opened up the towns first bank with their victory earnings against the King Radicus and the Mutants of the Wate-Pa.
Basics of Game-
This game will be a larp game with a winter survival horror theme to it. Main quests will focus on a murder mystery, leading to a possible court case, the town election, a treasure hunt and timed massive bounties on the Mini Bosses of Wate- Pa. A cold timer mechanic will be added to this game. Players and Npcs will need to have a timer when going outside of a "warm" area. Timers can be found in the role play hub area, the town. The town and the Npc save points are "warm" areas.
Time Events-
November 14th- Set up, camp out, mini events and pre-sign. This is to be more casual.
10am to 4pm Set up for Npcs and Town Players setting up a shop or helping with game set up. Player and Npc camp set up. Player and Npc Pre game sign in. Do note if you plan on camping out, please bring your own gear to camp out.
4pm to 430pm- Safety and role play briefs.
5pm to 530pm- Costume contest and prize giveaway in Ace's Bar.
530pm to 8pm- Movie Night. Please bring your own chair.
830pm to 12am- Game Night. Blood On Clock Tower will be hosted in the Town.
November 15th- Game Day
830am to 930am- sign in
930am to 10am safety- spawn and role play briefs.
10pm to 430pm- Game on.
430pm to 5pm- Cool down, tear down and end briefing.
Price-
Pre Order- 20$ Per person. Pre Orders, have first choice of faction based on what they order.
Gate Walk Ins- 30$ Per person. Faction will be chosen based on player outfit and what faction is open.
Factions in Game-
Due to the size of the field, players will be soft locked into the faction they start off with.
Ace's Mob, Wanderers, The Nobodies, The Golden Wings, Blood Hands and Town Peoples / Exit4. Note the Golden Wings are already filled.
Please read the rules as it outlines the safely guild lines as this is a larp event with airsoft guns. For DDay and the Water Park ANSI Z87+ approved full seal eye protection and players under the age of 18 must also have full face protection. In this event, all player ammo will be proved at the event. The player may bring out their own ammo to give to an ammo vendor. The rules link can be found at on our Facebook Group page.
