The movie is on. The comedians have microphones. Nothing is safe.
Good Aura Comedy presents the premiere of INTERRUPTED at CINEOPERA — a brand-new rooftop comedy experience where some of LA's funniest comedians watch an iconic movie alongside you and riff on it LIVE.
Think movie night meets live comedy meets Mystery Science Theater — all on a rooftop in the Arts District.
And for our Halloween kickoff, we're starting with an absolute classic:
Ghostface. Woodsboro. Drew Barrymore answering the world's worst phone call. Matthew Lillard doing... whatever Matthew Lillard is doing.
You've seen the movie.
Now come watch comedians ruin it.
INTERRUPTED takes movies you already know and love and turns them into a completely different live experience.
The movie plays on CINEOPERA's giant outdoor screen while Sean Leary and special guest comedians watch alongside the audience, riffing, reacting and jumping in throughout the film.
This isn't a traditional stand-up comedy show.
And it isn't a quiet night at the movies.
It's INTERRUPTED.
Every edition features a different iconic movie, different comedians and an entirely different night.
Welcome to one of LA's coolest new rooftop experiences.
Located in the Arts District, CINEOPERA combines movies, cocktails, food and an incredible open-air atmosphere built around one simple idea:
The screen is always on.
Come early, grab a drink, get some food, take in the rooftop and settle in for a movie night unlike anything else in Los Angeles.
Sean Leary is a Los Angeles-based comedian, host and producer seen on CBS's Comics Unleashed, Laughs on FOX, America's Got Talent, and performing at clubs and comedy festivals around the country.
Sean is also the creator and producer behind Good Aura Comedy's unique live experiences throughout Southern California, including Malibu Comedy Night, Beach House Comedy Club, Sunset Comedy at the Redondo Beach Historic Library, and comedy events at rooftops, wineries, estates and unexpected venues across LA.
Sean originally brought the INTERRUPTED concept to Rooftop Cinema Club in 2024 — and now it's back with a new home at CINEOPERA.
