In-Person Class: Halloween Cookie Decorating (NYC)

Celebrate the flavors and colors of fall in this fun, hands-on cookie decorating workshop! Perfect for beginners, this class will teach you the fundamentals of decorating beautiful autumn-themed sugar cookies using royal icing.

You'll learn essential techniques including icing consistency, outlining, flooding, layering, and adding decorative details while decorating a collection of seasonal cookies. Each guest will receive five freshly baked sugar cookies to decorate in the following fall-inspired shapes: a pumpkin, pumpkin pie slice, maple leaf, acorn, and red apple. By the end of class, you'll leave with your beautifully decorated cookie set, practical decorating skills, and the confidence to recreate these festive designs at home. No prior experience is needed- just bring your creativity and get ready for a fun and festive seasonal experience!
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the baking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting.
Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only.

Guest requirement:

Class will take place on the Terrace of the hotel. The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price, but will be available for sale at the venue. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only. For any guests booked individually, if you are part of a larger group please email [email protected] at least 48 hours prior to your class to confirm your full booking party size and the names of the others in your group. If your chef made your class extra special, feel free to leave a tip after class as a thank-you.
