One of the most common storylines in Christmas movies is the kidnapping of Christmas and its rescue.
Every year these films create a special mood and atmosphere for thousands of viewers.
However, this year 2022 this scenario is a sad reality for Ukrainian kids. Many kids are killed and will never see their presents. Can you imagine what their parents feel right now? When just a year ago their kids were unwrapping desired winter presents. We will have some Christmas trees in Ukraine. Some of them are made from protective nets used in war, other trees are installed deep under the ground in metro stations so that the missiles wouldn’t hit them. On this show “from home” I’ll tell you how we celebrate Xmas and New Year in Ukraine this year. Poignant and bittersweet experience.
