Turns out you don't need artistic talent, a Cricut, or a Pinterest-perfect craft room to make cute Halloween décor.
Join Lettered & Local for Hocus Pocus: A Halloween Chalkboard Workshop, where we'll transform blank chalkboards into spooky-season décor you'll actually be excited to display.
We'll start with a few simple hand-lettering techniques to help you get comfortable, then move on to creating your own Halloween sign using chalk or acrylic markers. Whether you're drawn to witchy vibes, cute pumpkins, spooky sayings, haunted humor, or classic Halloween charm, you'll have plenty of design options to choose from.
And before you start panicking about your handwriting: relax. This is a guided workshop, not an artistic endurance test. You'll have access to traceable templates, lettering guides, examples, and plenty of support throughout the class. Want to trace? Great. Want to freehand? Go for it. Want a little of both? That's usually where the magic happens.
No experience is required, and no one is expecting you to show up with a hidden talent for hand lettering. This class is designed for beginners, creative dabblers, Halloween enthusiasts, and anyone who wants a fun night out while making something unique.
Your ticket includes all supplies needed to create an approximately 8x10 Halloween chalkboard sign, guided instruction, lettering practice materials, templates, and design inspiration throughout the workshop.
Leave with a custom chalkboard sign, a few new lettering skills, and the satisfaction of saying, "Wait... I actually made that."
Because Halloween décor is even better when you can tell people you made it yourself.
Spots are limited, so grab your seat, bring your spooky spirit, and join us for a creative night of Halloween fun.
