A distinguished recitalist in the U.S. and Europe, she serves as National Vice-President and Councillor for Competitions and New Music for the American Guild of Organists. Ms. Howell holds degrees from Susquehanna University and Union Theological Seminary, and studied in Hamburg, Germany. Her organ teachers include James Boeringer, Heinz Wunderlich, Charles Dodsley Walker, Cherry Rhodes, and Harald Vogel.โฃ
