Join us in the Arts District for HARVEST on HARRISON.Gather your family and friends and join us for a day of spooky fun including Artist Vendor Fair, DJ, Costume Contest, Face Painting, along with Trick or Treating and special events at the businesses along Harrison Street!
SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES
12 PM – 5 PM on the Lawn at 911 S. Taylor (at Village Church)
ARTIST FAIR 12pm-5pm
Artist Vendors on the grassland and on sidewalk in front of shops. PLUS Selfie stations, Pumpkin Painting, and other arts and crafts.
CONTESTS AND MUSIC 1pm-5pm
1 PM: Pet Costume Contest on the Grassland
2 PM: Kid Costume Contest on the Grassland
3 PM Adult Costume Contest on the Grassland
4 PM Witches Dance by all who wish to participate
5 PM Harvest Event closes… Continue on to Dinner at one of the Arts District Restaurants
TRUNK OR TREAT in the Village Church Parking Lot 12-2:30pm
12-2:30pm – Go Trick or Treating from decorated trunk to decorated trunk at The Village Church, 911 S. Taylor + Hot Dog Lunch
BINGO CARD and PRIZES 12pm-5pm
**Stop by the OPAD table on the grassland to claim prizes including completed “Bingo” Cards**
TRICK or TREATING and SPECIAL EVENTS ALONG HARRISON STREET 12pm-5pm. Check out some of the highlights below:
- Fat Cat Art Gallery, 19 Harrison - Face Painting
- Dancing Krow Studio, 43 Harrison - Local Artist Exhibits
- Purple Sun Arts, 142 Harrison - Trick or Treating and seasonal artwork, jewelry and crafts.
- Studio 144 Boutique, 144 Harrison - Trick or Treating
- Laura Maychruk Real Estate 911 S. Lombard - Local Artist Showcase Event featuring Tom Bassett-Dilley, Amy Renzulli, Tamara Waserman and Ann Primack will be on hand to show their artwork. This is a great opportunity to explore what Oak Park artists are up to and purchase a piece as a gift or for yourself!
