Step into the world of Harlem Nights for an unforgettable Halloween night filled with comedy, style, and grown-folks fun! Minneapo-Laughs brings together a stacked lineup of Twin Cities talent for a special comedy experience inspired by one of the most iconic Black comedy films of all time.
THE COMEDIANS
Pierre “Cool P” Douglas — Minneapolis comedian, entertainer, and co-founder of Baddies Comedy Club. Performing since 2012, Pierre has opened for national acts including Ali Siddiq and Michael Blackson, performed at major comedy clubs and festivals, and was part of the team behind the Minneapolis taping of Kevin Hart’s Hart of the City on Comedy Central.
Juice Sutton — Twin Cities comedian, actor, professional emcee, and official in-game host for the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Wild. He has appeared on Meet the Browns and House of Payne, has shared the stage with comedy heavyweights including Dave Chappelle and Tony Baker, and brings high-energy, feel-good comedy to every stage.
Bruce Brilliance — A seasoned comedian who can be seen on Comedy Central and Kevin Hart’s Hart of the City, bringing his sharp delivery, unique perspective, and hilarious storytelling to the Harlem Nights stage.
Mycoolash — A rising Twin Cities comedy talent bringing a distinctive personality, fearless energy, and a fresh perspective to the stage. Catch her alongside this all-star lineup for a night of laughs you won’t want to miss.
Bianca Love — A dynamic Twin Cities comedian and entertainer bringing her own brand of personality, humor, and energy to the Harlem Nights experience.
THE HARLEM NIGHTS INSPIRATION
The theme pays homage to Eddie Murphy’s legendary 1989 film Harlem Nights, starring Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, and Redd Foxx. Set in the late 1930s, the classic follows the operators of a Harlem nightclub navigating comedy, nightlife, hustlers, gangsters, and unforgettable characters. (AFI Catalog)
