Getting his start at the young age of 12, it didn’t take long for him to realize that he would soon be actively pursuing a career in music. By the age of 14, he was playing blues and big band standards in school band, while slamming rock music at local venues with various bands on week nights and weekends. Cutting his teeth as a young adult in Lafayette, LA. he quickly became one of the hub city’s most sought after drummers and singers. Spending a vast majority of his time blazing shows across the south with his rnb/soul band, Sailor Mouth, Gino continued to dial in his own brand of front man from behind the drums. Turning his sights to his now very own project, the young drummer/singer’s intention is to defy the genre box.
V’s style is a blend of soul, rhythm & blues, and rock; with a live show that’s sure to get your blood pumping. Deep pockets. Funk flair with a rock n roll attitude. Adrenaline driven and hard hitting. Possessing a musical ability that is only surpassed by his work ethic and determination, V is set to make the world believers: one show at a time.
