• Mallory Arnold is the USA Today bestselling author of How to Survive a Horror Story. She writes creepy, mysterious fiction and lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband and three cats.

• Brian McAuley is the USA Today bestselling author of Breathe In, Bleed Out, a 2025 Goodreads Choice Awards Nominee. Esquire dubbed his debut novel Curse of the Reaper one of the Best Horror Books of 2022. Brian’s holiday horror novella Candy Cain Kills earned praise from Library Journal, Booklist, and Kirkus, leading to a sequel: Candy Cain Kills Again. His short fiction and nonfiction have appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies. As a WGA screenwriter, Brian has written film and television projects for Netflix, Syfy and Lifetime Networks.
