Gypsum’s signature event, Gypsum Daze, celebrates our small-town spirit in a BIG way! This community gathering brings friends, neighbors, and families together to honor Colorado, our Western heritage, and the unique rural mountain fun that only Gypsum can offer. The Gypsum Daze weekend features a wide variety of family activities (most of them FREE) and exciting events, including: a Kid’s Fishing Derby, Deadlift Competition, Pickleball Tournament, Youth Talent Show, Free Outdoor Movie, Fireman’s Pancake Breakfast, 5K Run/Walk, Parade, Superintendent’s Revenge Golf Tournament, Classic Car Show, Horseshoe Tournament, Family Shooting Sports BBQ, Jalapeño Eating Contest, Carnival Rides and Food Trucks, all leading up to a boot-stompin’ live Country Music Concert.
