Come join us for the Annual Grand Blanc Chamber Family Fun Fest! features an exciting & safe carnival atmosphere filled with lots of rides, yummy carnival food, vendors, games, a charity dunk tank and MORE!

 Families can enjoy a carnival atmosphere in a safe manner during the Grand Blanc Chamber of Commerce’s annual Family Fun Fest from Thursday, June 15 to Sunday, June 18.

Festivities will take place 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, noon to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, with the carnival grounds located at Grand Blanc High School, 12500 Holly Road.

Attractions include vendors, carnival rides, food, games and a charity dunk tank.

“It’s open to everyone, we want everyone to come and enjoy themselves,” Leigh LaForest, Grand Blanc Chamber of Commerce Executive Director said. “So, it’s very family friendly, very family oriented. There’s rides for little ones and for the older ones as well.”

Two carnival ride sessions will take place from noon to 5 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Tickets for one session can be purchased onsite at the carnival for $30.

A fireworks display is set for 10 p.m. on Friday. LaForest said the best spots for viewing the fireworks are the carnival grounds, Grand Blanc High School West parking lot and downtown Grand Blanc by Physicians Park.

Public figures in the community signed up to partake in the dunk tank from 12:30-4 p.m. on Saturday, with proceeds going toward the Grand Blanc scholarship fund.

The dunk tank lineup includes Grand Blanc Township Police Chief Bill Renye, Grand Blanc Community Schools Superintendent Trevor Alward, as well as Grand Blanc City Fire Chief Don Schreiber II.

Additionally, LaForest said a curfew will be in place, stating all children under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent after 8 p.m.

“We are very blessed with the generosity of many, many sponsors throughout this community,” LaForest said. “We would not be able to hold this event without their generosity. That also includes the high school, that includes the local police and fire departments as well.”
