The Veterans Commission will host a picnic,concert and firework show on Independence day 2024 at the Park District pavilion. Start time is 4:00pm, but the park will be open all day long.Joe Cantafio will open the entertainment at 6:00pm and Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute Freebyrd will start at 8:00pm to 9:30pm followed by fireworks. There will be food vendors,craft vendors,a caricature artist and some military vehicles as well. People can pack their own picnic, bring coolers. snacks and beverages.
Free parking at 157th and Long st. This will be a great time for family and friends. We'll see you there.
