To promote fire safety, the Columbia Heights Fire Department invites you to the Public Safety Building's Fire Station on Sat, Oct 10, from 11 am to 2 pm. Kids, young and old, can spray a real fire hose, meet dalmatians, watch a fire demonstration, meet local firefighters, and more!Take part in the City’s inaugural Halloween Costume Swap! Save money and reduce waste by donating your gently used costumes and picking out a new costume at the swap! There is no cost to participate.
Costume Drop-Off
Bring your gently used Halloween costumes to the Parks & Recreation office at Murzyn Hall (530 Mill St NE) through Fri, Oct 2.
‘Shop’ the Swap
Pick out a new-to-you Halloween costume at the Fire Department Open House (825 41st Ave NE) on Sat, Oct 10, between 11 am and 2 pm.
