Welcome to Windswept Tales...Think an evening of Shakespeare and Poe — with a soundtrack! DSO string and woodwind artists amp up the drama as live readings from Delaware Shakespeare actors pull you straight into the story.
It’s a dark, bold, mash-up of music and theater, giving seasonal atmosphere of eerie tales, shadowy rooms, and playful frights — all things that make your heart race just a little faster!
Not your usual night out, and that’s the point.
Featuring DSO Musicians Kimberly Reighley, flute; Stephanie Wilson, oboe; Daniel Spitzer, clarinet; Jon Gaarder, bassoon; David Southorn & Lisa Vaupel, violins; Elias Goldstein, viola; and Philo Lee, cello.
