DO YOU LIKE PAIN? - A CLIVE BARKER RETROSPECTIVE
"I have seen the future of horror, and its name is Clive Barker." — Stephen King
Long before horror became obsessed with jump scares, Clive Barker showed audiences that true terror could be beautiful, seductive, mythic and agonizing.
We have such sights to show you as we will be showcasing seven of Barker's defining works presented through 4K restorations, director's cuts, and a rare 35mm print.
Join us at The Revue this October and have your soul torn apart!
SCHEDULE:
DOORS OPEN - 7:00pm
HELLRAISER : 7:30pm
INTERMISSION: 9:15pm
HELLBOUND: HELLRAISER II : 9:30pm
Sexual deviant Frank (Sean Chapman) inadvertently opens a portal to hell when he tinkers with a box he bought while abroad. The act unleashes gruesome beings called Cenobites, who tear Frank's body apart. When Frank's brother (Andrew Robinson) and his wife, Julia (Clare Higgins), move into Frank's old house, they accidentally bring what is left of Frank back to life. Frank then convinces Julia, his one-time lover, to lure men back to the house so he can use their blood to reconstruct himself.
