Messiah continues our worship schedule with the Divine Service on Sunday, December 24th at 10:00 am. This service is scheduled to be livestreamed at www.youtube.com/messiahgr, our website and our Facebook page. Bible Class will be held at 9:00 am.Please plan to join us for our special Christmas services as well! Our Christmas Eve service will be held on Sunday, December 24th at 7:00 pm; our Christmas Day service will be held on Monday, December 25th at 10:00 am.
The continuity of the Lord’s strength is unmistakable. He alone shores up the psalmist David as shepherd of sheep & prince of Israel. Enemies cannot destroy the Lord’s protective shield over David. So also, the Church is fortified through the preaching of the Gospel & remains the vessel of divine mystery & truth that lasts forever. God’s ultimate strength is revealed through the angel Gabriel, who proclaims to a virgin that she will bear the Son of God. (Isaiah 45:8 & Psalm 19:1, 4-6; 2 Samuel 7:1-11, 16; Romans 16:25-27; Luke 1:26-38)
