This Halloween, we're doing something a little different…

No awkward speed dating.
No standing around wondering who you should talk to.
And definitely no ordinary Saturday night.

Instead, our theme this year, a Halloween Masquerade Ball for South Asian Singles - an evening of mystery, connection, conversation and just the right amount of mischief. 🎭✨

Because sometimes meeting someone new should feel a little more exciting.

You've made an effort. You look good. You walk into a room filled with other singles who've done exactly the same.

There's music playing, drinks are flowing, people are laughing and somewhere across the room is someone you haven't met yet.

Maybe it's just a great conversation.

Maybe you make some brilliant new friends.

Maybe there's chemistry you weren't expecting.

Or maybe you meet someone who makes you very glad you decided not to stay home that Saturday night.

That's what these nights are really about.

Creating the kind of environment where real-life connection can happen naturally.

And on Halloween night, we're adding a little mystery to the mix. 😉

This isn't fancy dress Halloween.

Think stylish, and sophisticated rather than ghosts, zombies and fake blood, with a masquerade mask to add to the mystery.

Come dressed to impress, add your masquerade mask and let the evening unfold.

And yes, there's something rather wonderful about having a conversation with someone when you don't quite know what's hiding behind the mask...

This event is specifically for Desi singles, with tickets organised across three age groups:

25–34 | 35–44 | 45+

We'll be working towards a balanced ratio of men and women across the event.

Whether you've been to one of our events before or this is your very first one, you're welcome.

And if you're thinking:

“But I don't have anyone to come with…”

Come anyway.

Seriously.

A huge number of people attend ConnectAsian events on their own.

You're walking into a room where everyone is there for essentially the same reason - to meet people.

We'll also have our usual ConnectAsian touches and ice-breakers to help conversations get started, so you won't simply be left standing in a room hoping somebody talks to you.

We're keeping this one under wraps for now.

The venue will be revealed exclusively to confirmed ticket holders closer to the event.

What we can tell you is that we're creating an environment worthy of the occasion - somewhere that allows us to bring together atmosphere, music, conversation and that unmistakable masquerade feeling.

Masquerade masks are strongly encouraged.

It's very easy to tell yourself:

“I'll go to the next one.”

We can't promise you'll meet your person on 31st October.

Nobody honestly can.

But we can create the room.

We can fill it with people who are open to meeting someone.

We can make starting conversations easier.

And then…

you just have to walk through the door.
