THE CARNIVAL had been a glittering wonder of the 1920s, a beacon of joy and escape for the town. People came from miles around to ride the Ferris wheel, indulge in cotton candy, and marvel at the fire breathers and fortune tellers. But one day, without warning, it shut down. No explanation. No grand finale. The gates simply locked, and the vibrant lights went dark.

FOR DECADES, the carnival sat abandoned, rust creeping up the rides, the tents tattered and swaying in the wind. Locals whispered about strange occurrences, but no one dared to enter. By the 1960s, it was nothing more than a ghost of its former self, a sad reminder of forgotten joys.
