This Halloween, Crit and Ale and Nirvana Coffee and Games are crawling out of the shadows and into a bigger lair.
Join us at the Emerald Event Space, in partnership with Nirvana Coffee and Games, for Creatures of the Night, an immersive Halloween party overflowing with music, mystery, magic, and just the right amount of betrayal.
This may be our first event at the Emerald, but it is still the same chaotic, nerdy Crit and Ale and Nirvana Coffee and Games experience you know and love. We’ve simply unlocked a larger map, raised the attendance cap, and made room for even more creatures to join the campaign.
What Awaits You
Dance among the damned on a full dance floor with a live DJ, or lie directly to your friends’ faces during multiple games of Blood on the Clocktower and other themed social deduction games running simultaneously throughout the evening.
When you need a break from betrayal, enjoy hors d’oeuvres with a vegetarian option available, summon something sinister from the themed cocktail menu and wet bar, or have your fate revealed through a paid tarot reading from Jessica of Andaes’ Acquisitions.
Our silent auction will feature baskets provided by local businesses, giving you the chance to leave the night with treasures even the spirits would envy.

Come dressed in your supernatural best for our costume contest, featuring four categories:

* Spookiest
* Best Group or Couple
Winners will receive a custom T-shirt and a door gift upgrade, plus the eternal glory of defeating an entire ballroom of costumed competition.
Capture Your Transformation
Visit our photo booth to preserve evidence that you looked frighteningly good. Physical Polaroid prints will be available for purchase on-site, along with the option to purchase professional digital portraits from our on-site photographer, delivered after the event.
