Come and join the original, multi-award-winning family rave at Oxford's excellent Tap Social Taphouse!

Don your ghostly garb and shake your bones to stonking tuneage from Count Skylarkin! Party with your kids amidst the bubbles, snow foam and balloons! There will also be a creepily cool, multi-activity craft and activity area, oh, and of course the licenced bar will be open serving Tap's spooktacular selection of beers!

Theme: HALLOWEEN!! Fancy dress is not the law, but is massively encouraged - kids and adults!

Big Fish Little Fish is like a micro-festival/rave for all the family. Created by people drawn from the club and festival world (who now have children), BFLF brings a love of music, dancing and having a good time to families across the UK.

There is limited parking on the Curtis Industrial Estate but you must validate your parking using the QR code inside the venue. We recommend using the Seacourt Park and Ride which is a five-minute walk away.

The DJ, bar, dancefloor and effects will be on the ground floor, which is wheelchair-accessible. The craft tables and some other activities will be on the first floor mezzanine, which is only accessible by stairs. The toilets are on the ground floor but are not fully wheelchair accessible with the required handrails. If you have any mobility/accessibility questions please email [email protected].

There are toilets on the ground floor and a changing table will be available but may be upstairs.

There is very limited storage space at the venue. Please leave buggies behind if possible - they will not be allowed in the dance floor area as they are a trip hazard.

There is a no refund policy. If you are unable to attend you may sell your tickets to someone else. If well in advance of a sold-out event please email [email protected] so we can try and match you with someone on the waiting list.

SAFETY:

Adults remain responsible for their children at all times.

This is a family event. Adult only groups are not allowed.

The event will be busy. The dancefloor is for adults and children to dance together.

Please be aware that events are standing/dancing with limited seating available.

Each event is stewarded and risk assessed in advance

Battery operated accessories eg light up batons are not permitted at events due to risks associated with circular batteries. Please do not bring these along.

This is a crowded, indoor family event. Please do not bring dogs along.

If attending as a large party please ensure one adult to two children minimum. We will refuse entry to groups where there is inadequate supervision. If there are more than 4 adults per child in your group, or you are planning to bring a large group of children (eg a birthday party) please email [email protected] for pre-approval before buying tickets

Each member of your group must have a ticket. Pre-walking infants are free (but ticketed).

The music level is set and monitored throughout to abide by WHO guidelines. Though quieter than at adult events, it is still loud enough to feel like you are at a club. Most parents do not use ear defenders on their children but if yours are particularly sensitive to noise or if you want them to nap then you might want to consider it.

We may photograph or film small parts of the event and by entering you are giving your permission for these to be used for BFLF promotion purposes

When you purchase a ticket through Eventbrite you will automatically get added to our mailing list so that we can send you any important event information as well as future events. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Please be aware that BFLF is designed to provide a family-friendly, authentic club experience and is not a traditional children’s party or disco. There will be no kids' music, games, or DJ shout outs. The effect is to give families unity on the dancefloor – dancing together. DJs will be announced in advance of each party but may be subject to unavoidable change.
