On Easter Bank Holiday Sunday 9th April we'll be marking the occasion with a special edition of our weekly Sunday Live Sessions, and we'll be joined for a night of outstanding live music by the inimitable James Morton, from 8pm until late.

James Morton is one of the most exciting saxophone players of his generation.

Born out of the Bristol music scene James has developed an international career over the last 15 years and in 2014 he was appointed as Ambassador of Music for the city.

In addition to his long standing membership of British trip-hop Legends The Herbaliser, throughout his career James has worked with some of the world’s best known and most prolific artists, including Kasabian, Pendulum, Raphael Saadiq, Cee Lo Green, Roni Size, George Clinton, Fred Wesley and The New JB’s, Pee Wee Ellis, Angelique Kidjo and Andy Sheppard to name just a few. More recently James has as worked as part of NPG Hornz playing with Liv Warfield and other members from Prince’s band.

James’ unique lyrical and rhythmic style, which allows him to directly “speak” to his audience, conveys a strong sense of emotion that really connects with people and is what makes him such a special – and in demand – player.

Tickets to this very special Bank Holiday event are £10 and include a welcome cocktail and all night entertainment.
