Hello Party Goers!Spooky Season is upon us! Come join us for our annual creepy shenanigans with the best of people, too much food and drinks, and the spooktacularest decorations in town! Costumes are suggested, but not required. There will be a costume contest, so put some thought into it!
This year we bring you both famous and obscure regional creepy mythology. Our yard will be teaming with cryptids and creatures of urban legend lore! Nothing says Halloween quite like a man in a bunny suit wielding an axe. We are so amped up about this theme after a year of research. Our deep dive into these myths and legends took us down a real rabbit hole. HAHAHA! Get it?
TOURS
Because we've done so much interesting learning, this year we not only are going to test your knowledge with another quiz, but we will be sharing ours! Come along on one of our guided tours through out the property to hear about the individual stories behind the vignettes o display!
Tours will be conducted every hour on the have hour starting at 8:30! Last tour starts at 11:30 and your shining Host, the Halloween Queen herself will be your guide! If you are interested in any of the tours, meet out front on the sidewalk. Your guide will await you!
PROVISIONS
As always, we will be providing a specialty cocktail, mocktail, beer, hard cider, seltzer, soda, and water. If there is a beverage of your choice we fail to provide you may bring it.
CONTEST
Our annual costume contest has gotten FIERCE! There are two chances to win! There is a prize for the popular vote and one for the JarvHaus Halloween Committee vote! Voting happens just before the midnight hour! Winners are announced at Midnight Sharp!
RULES
-We ask that you do not bring food to share! Food is planned months in advance and we often lack room on tables for additions.
-Smokers: tobacco, vape, or W**d! There is a smoking section. Ashtrays are provided. Please be respectful as many of our guests and your host are sensory sensitive.
-JarnHaus is a safe space. This event is inclusive, community driven, and built on love. All are welcome! Hate, violence, or any mean or shaming rhetoric will not be tolerated.
-No illegal Drugs
-No Guns
ACCOMMODATIONS:
-If you have dietary needs you would like to have considered, please contact us no later than 2 weeks prior to the event. No promises can be made that we can accommodate, but we are open to dialogue. You are free to provide your own food for yourself.
-If you have mobility concerns, please contact us! Full disclosure, our home and yard are not wheelchair friendly, yet we have had wheelchair user guests before. We would love to have a conversation about what you can expect and how we can best create a welcoming space of you.
