Join us for a fun evening of books, conversation, and in-person connections at our first Gay/MLM: Achillean Speed Dating Singles Event! (Ages 21-40)

Swipe less, read more, meet in person. Our Achillean Speed Dating: A Spooky Singles Event is designed to bring local singles together in a relaxed, low-stakes, bookstore setting. Enjoy light appetizers, drinks, book themed activities, and rotating conversations that make it easy to meet fellow readers.

Come ready to discuss your favorite books, discover new recommendations, and maybe even start a new chapter with someone special!

This event is geared towards all gay single men (gay, bisexual, pansexual, trans men, etc.) and gay identifying non-binary folks, ages 21-40 (ID's will be checked), that are interested in seeking out other queer men. We are excited to expand with future events tailored to different communities and interests, including hetero and other LGBTQIA+ readers.

Your $35 non-refundable ticket includes:

• Event Entry
• 2 Alcoholic Beverages (non-alcoholic will be available as well)
• Appetizers
• 1 Free Book (pick a book valuing $10 or less, excludes HNTs and glass case items)
• Exclusive Shopping: Receive 10% discount during event (excludes HNTs & glass case items); The Open Book Totebag holders bringing their tote that night recieve the 20% with the bag.

Payment Policy: After submitting your RSVP via Eventbrite, payment in cash must be received within 5 days of filling out the form to secure your spot. Please have exact change. ID will be checked when dropping off payment. If payment is not received during that timeframe, your reservation will be released and you will receive a cancellation reservation email from [email protected]. You are able to RSVP a second time with the same payment timeframe. However, if we do not recieve payment that second time and have to cancel your reservation, and we notice a subsequent sign-up then your reservation will be automatically cancelled to keep things fair for those interested in attending the event.
Event Disclaimer: Event tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by us due to extenuating circumstances. Please check your availability to attend prior to purchasing a ticket. IDs will be checked, must be age 21-40.
