SARRC is excited to celebrate the 5th annual YES Day Walk for Autism™ with our supportive community on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025 from 9 a.m. to noon!
Opening Ceremonies begin at 9 a.m., with an instructor-led stretch session to warm up our attendees for the Walk. Following the walk, participants can enjoy all that our fifth annual event has to offer!
Event Highlights:
💜 1-Mile Family-Friendly Walk: Participate in our community one-mile walk event at your own pace! The walk will kick off at 9 a.m. at the main stage with the start line stationed under the Mill Avenue bridge. Participants will enjoy a scenic stroll along the canal, looping back to finish at the park, where the YES Day festivities will continue!
💜 Resource Fair: Visit and chat with a diverse network of autism providers from around Arizona.
💜 Eats & Treats: Explore more local food trucks dishing up delicious eats from around the Valley.
💜 Live Entertainment & Special Performances: Attendees can look forward to a morning full of exciting and interactive performances at the main stage.
💜 Carnival Kids’ Zone: Enjoy an array of arts and crafts, face painting stations, carnival games and prizes, team relay races, and more.
💜 Quiet Zone: Take a breather and enjoy quieter activities
💜 Sprouts Pumpkin Patch: Choose a free pumpkin in the Sprouts Pumpkin Patch and head to our no-carve decorating stations.
The event will also include a large quiet zone where families can take breaks.
Leading up to the October 26 event, we encourage our community to register in advance to help raise funds, awareness and acceptance! Everyone is invited and encouraged to join our efforts: families, friends, partners, and the community at large, who are driven by a desire to create more supportive, inclusive communities for people with autism.
