About this EventNo tricks—just a bar where everyone is single. Good drinks, Great conversations, and maybe a few unexpected connections. 👀🎃 Don’t Miss This.
Join us for a relaxed Social at the stunning Victorian venue 📍 Malt Cross — a warm, welcoming space designed for genuine conversation. Flamingo Dating encourages people to meet each other in real life, under our wing (no pun intended) whether that's platonic or otherwise! 700+ Nottingham locals have already attended our events.
This is Not speed dating - just a low pressure social where you can mingle naturally. So far, multiple people have dated, exchanged numbers, made friends, had plenty of laughs and lots of sparks 👀
Don’t miss out — book your spot now 🕑 Bring a friend or come solo (most people do). You never know who you might meet.
- The age guide for this event is 35+
- 👻 Fancy dress is completely optional. Go all-out, add a subtle Halloween touch, or simply come as normal. Our hosts will be dressed.
- We keep track of tickets to maintain a balanced ratio of genders
- View a video from one of our past events
- Hosts will be present in case you need anything
Flamingo Dating has teamed up with the iconic venue Malt Cross to bring you this event! Held in a private section upstairs. They are giving a FREE prosecco or soft drink to anyone who arrives before 7.30 pm.
Why You Should Attend… ✅
- Over 70% of our attendees come solo, so dont worry about bringing a friend
- Icebreaker questions, table top games and other activities at our events (Optional to partake).
- Friendly hosts present in case you need anything.
Why Dating Apps Suck ⚠️
- An uneven balance - 15% of users on dating apps in the UK are women, and 85% are men.
- You can’t read a person’s body language, facial expressions or tone of voice.
- Too much choice is bad, this can lead to decision overload, superficial judgement and ghosting.
Considerations & Guidance ❤
- Respect personal boundaries and space.
- Don’t assume romantic interest just because someone is talking to you.
- If you connect with someone, feel free to ask for their number and plan a date.
- Tickets are limited — we recommend booking in advance to secure your spot. Tickets are available on the door but subject to availability on the day.
- This event is for those 35+. Our events in general cover 20 - 60.
